I steal a lot of ideas and plot points from TV shows and books. My players are normalfags that don't consume anything that isn't current and popular, so they don't know how much I steal. The few times they actually caught on, they were fine with it.I'm just worried I am creating a bad habit. I have tons of original ideas as well, but I'm very demotivated, since a lot of adventures fell through for one reason or another and I had to come up with brand new concepts every time, so I have been stealing a lot more recently.

That's right, they practically don't exist because other races are simply inferior when it comes to necromancy and those non-human undead are so pathetic that everyone forgets about their existence in 5 minutes . Except for that one orc, but even he understood that he was worthless and therefore got himself a human body to finally become a full-fledged lich. So yes, here is your feature humans - necromancy, you know that I am right, you can't run away from the truth forever.

Prostitution is the oldest profession. It has always existed and it will always exist. The presence of prostitutes and brothels is crucial for making a game setting and world feel realistic and lived in. Otherwise, it will lack all verisimilitude. To repost from last thread...>>97805726>>97802916>>97807836I've been digging more though feats and well, found Crossbow Expert. the 2024 version kinda stinks (Instead of the BA attack, it's free TWF fighting style with Light crossbows) and the free hand crossbow shot is kinda seen as OP... so part of me is thinking why not give it the same treatment that Polemaster had, just make the damage dice a d4 but also allow any type of crossbow to use it. It is a extra shot, but it's low damage no matter the weapon used.------Crossbow Expert (Rewritten)Ability Score Increase. Increase your Dexterity score by 1, to a maximum of 20.Ignore Loading. >>97809762go up, you baldhead
>>97797709I've had this thought in the back of my mind for ages that the core of "evil" is selfishness. You could disagree of course but I think putting yourself ahead of others too much is the root of tons of real-world ills as well as evils in fiction. If you look at Abrahamic faiths or other "right hand path" philosophy (if I'm using that term right) I'd say it mostly aligns with this principle. For bonus points, if you look at real-world Satanists (the meme atheist ones not the weirdo "we literally believe in the Morningstar" ones, IIRC) they ascribe to a philosophy that emphasizes personal growth and power while balancing it with doing no harm and having basic respect for people and other living things. (Don't quote me on this, I don't often look at beliefs like that.)
