I don't tend to fudge dice but I do end up favouring one side. I've found it's simplest to just roll with it: pick your side and enjoy how they win. Maybe give the other side extra troops to blunt the advantage or whatever you need to keep it interesting.
All the dedicated solo games I've seen have you play Your Guys against the Enemy anyway.

In Requiem at least, it's really easy to remove touchstones, so I don't get what the fuss is about. It's just a +2 to resisting breaking points until your humanity dips below 6. You don't even need them to be an NPC, it could be an object of significant importance to your character. You can easily excise that from the game with zero issue.

Dungeons are in fact part of the life cycle of the humble mimic. A dungeon can be separated into discrete sections, which are called Tiles due to an antiquated form of dungeon mapping. Each of these Tiles is in fact an elder mimic in the final stage of its lifecycle.

Mimics prefer dwelling in caves or other areas protected from direct sunlight. A dungeon often begins with a simple cave and a chest(mimic) hidden in a nook, luring in treasure seekers. Once the mimic has absorbed enough nutrients it will embed itself within the earth or stone, similar to weaving a cocoon, the mimic will metamorphosize itself, and the surrounding stone, into a larger edifice, to provide a more tantalizing presentation for its bait. How mimics gain their aesthetic sense is unknown at this time.

The mimic will then bud, producing more mimics. Which in turn mature becoming a new edifice, and in doing so form a symbiotic bond with the pre-existing Tiles. Becoming a vast interconnected single organism. Which is how dungeons are born.

At first these dungeons will attract wandering creatures through some form of pheromone, like a pitcher plant. Providing protection to its core aspect, and passive sustenance from the detritus and remains from these creatures. However once a dungeon has advanced enough, its ability to mimic other lifeforms matures and the dungeon is able to produce false creatures under its direct influence.
Most notable is the "Dungeon Boss". Kept within the deepest part of the dungeon, it is the final guardian for the aforementioned core aspect. This dungeon core, is the central repository for the dungeon's awareness and magic. Should the Boss be defeated the dungeon, as a defensive posture, will regurgitate a large quantity of valuable materials to distract the potential threat. Dungeons can feed on the ambient energy of magical items, which will often be found in this treasured ambergris alongside precious metals like gold and silver which are believed to be indigestible material. Some dungeons at this point will seemingly collapse, but this is a deception. The Dungeon as a final defensive posture recedes into the Earth and enters into a period of hibernation. Only to re-emerge decades later, when the threat and even knowledge of its existence has long passed.

You sure you read the correct posts?
I'm just pointing out that your way of handling this stuff - people making their characters separately - is less efficient than them making them together. The only possible gain from doing it on your own is when you are making mid-level character in a modern DnD or adjacent game and you absolutely must consult 15 different rulebooks, which takes fuckload of time. Otherwise, making characters together allows you to get the entire group on the same page about the campaign, while also not leaving them with homework to do.

Meh, i don't think it's necessarily advantageous, especially if the chargen isn't particularly articulated. I see the point of it when introducing new rulesystem or when playing something with a lot of moving parts so there may be the need for a more directed approach. Most of the problems that in-presence session 0 supposedly solves can be avoided with better specificy in the coordination phase.

One additional advantage of making characters together is that meme, one-off and joke characters get easily squashed. Not even in terms of "GM forbade it", people simply don't dare proposing those.

I've really never understood this opinion. You're not paying the same price, for both of them, because a veteran breacher costs twice as much as an inductii and is in a far less accessible slot. The problem isn't that a power weapon isn't worth 10 points on an inductii it's that it isn't worth 10 points period.
