Keep Wind Waker, magic items are scarce but they're at least still present enough that they didn't just drop the Magic Meter like TP did with the Gale Boomerang and the Magic Armor being the only items that fed into the meter before it was removed. Wind Waker is closer to Ocarina in intent and practice than Twilight Princess is, and TP is the one that jerks off Ocarina way harder.

Quests are shit and very fetchy, the story is mostly bland and sparse and even the areas that you rethread don't have the faction war thing properly working in them. No matter how many times you clear the bandits at the train depot they respawn instantaneously the moment you step outside. It's so shallow, not even the new areas get to shine since, like I said, they're just straightforward linear shooty-shooty final bits of the game. Red Forest is small as fuck. There's just not much to do in that game.
