Hi all,Wanted to inquire about how you all, as people using 4chan, view yourselves in terms of how you imagine other people might judge you for browsing and/or posting on this site. I find myself unwilling to let myself be seen using this site, as I hold the belief that I would thus be branded a weirdo or worse. Now, is this the common sentiment? I get many wouldn’t even recognize it from the screen on my phone, but nonetheless, what do you think the average person’s perception of 4chan is? As insiders, we have our own perception, but I’m curious about what other insiders perceive/infer of an outsider’s impression.
I know for a fact one of my family members browses this site. He's a pretty normal guy. He browses /v/. Really don't care if my posts are connected to me, because I refuse to allow myself to be enslaved into caring about what others perceptions of me are.I actually have a very in depth system which can be used to digitally sign all of my messages.
