Is there a super system that is purpose built to integrate RPG scale, Skirmish, scale and wargame scale scenarios into one campaign?

I think that would be pretty epic. You might first go on an rpg party scale infiltration mission to get some kind of advantage for the next session that is a wargame, where if you succeeded, maybe you can hide a unit anywhere on the tabletop.
I think I heard people saying that it was kind of attempted in some Old DnD releases and ACKS, but it never seems to really be all that focused on or displayed in action much.

Would totally be a niche gameplay style that would require a group both up for rpg's and wargames, but I think it could be pretty epic.

what level are you at? what race are you using for your life cleric? whats your spell list look like? your feats? I find that life cleric can be very good at providing a lot of oomph while healing quite a bit if you build it right. Though it depends, fi you want to be a blaster caster but cleric Light is really good while war is good for if you wanna go FULL melee and have quick a few people in the party who can benefit from things like crusader mantle. What are we working with here when it comes to your cleric?

I’d say it would depend a lot on the city, on the current level of security and stability for the region and on the moods of the guards.
Approaching alongside civilized people who could vouch for the not so savage ogre/troll would help considerably.

>But i also enjoy seeing the interlocking systems unfold. Seeing an unstable west in europe because we never unlocked new trade routes, plundered trade fairs, and sicced so many religious wars and conspiracies that Kings are swapping left and right and Empires with a slew of vassals underneath are nigh impossible to hold onto. I enjoy spending a moment and reflecting on the end state of a game like this, be it Pax Ren and Spirit Island. I really latch onto the theme by way of thinking: *we* did this, we made the east a wealthy powerhouse, the island a devastated wasteland through our will and petty wrath made manifest on both whitey and the natives, or made these suburbs an inflationary hell hole of 40$ burgers that can only ever be paired with Lemonade. Our compiled choices did this.
I would like to play games with you
>>
>What is the most fun to you?
There are the general aspects which always apply. Interesting theme, well-integrated mechanics, all that.

But one throughline for most games I like is the strong sense of buildup and power progression. Whether it's starting out with nothing but 17 pounds in Brass and using them to build up an industrial behemoth shitting out dozens of pounds each turn, or starting with one pizza chain selling one pizza to saturating the market in FCM, or starting with one weak ass fighter in your home planet in Eclipse and getting to the stage of owning several sectors with xboxhueg dreadnoughts staring down everyone who would get in my way.

A good capper to that kind of gameplay is the explosive finale it tends to provide.

Depends on your preferred form of lewdity. I lewdified 5e with zero difficulty because I like my character to be the aggressor, so it's easy enough to say my grappling rolls or whatever end in penetration instead of combat.
>>
>>97096824
God no. I'd rather die.
>>
>>97188743
>>97182529
Simplest option? Just make 'Lewd' a type of damage dealt by unarmed 'attacks' and grappling.. AC goes down with less armor, so it's easier to hit with an unarmed 'attack' when the target is unclothed. Make Charisma checks to seduce characters using the rules for changing NPC attitudes.
Constitution saves to become pregnant, if you're into that.
Advantage/disadvantage on Lewd attacks involving kinks or turn-offs.

Basically, you don't really need to add new rules, just recontextualize the ones that are already there.

>What is Shadow of the Demon Lord?
An awsome game. It's creator designed it with the goal to have fun with his friends at the table while drinking beer. The ruleset he came up with is really easy to learn and well-balanced to meet a broad spectrum of player's/GM's preferences. The lore of the game setting is grimdark af and only really makes sense if you read trough a ton of splatbooks.

>>
>Lots of people complain that the game world's lore is shit.
Because it is. People rightfully rag on Rob for his blatant magic realm scat fetish, but what bothers me equally that goes unmentioned is his awful vocabulary for worldbuilding in general. It takes away any and all mystery and intrigue from his setting(s). Examples include:
>genies who made everything
Which immediately brings to mind Arabian cartoon parodies.
>the weird wizard xD
Rick & Morty-type D&D crossover bullshit.
And for worldbuilding history-
>ogres believe they were quote "shat out of the anus of a giant ogre"
>dwarf city is named bulger because its founder built a statue of himself with a bulging penis

Unironically he should've been more poetic or flowery. Use a different word besides fucking genie. Call the wizard something else besides weird. Phrase the ogre creation myth in a more roundabout way. Everything just feels so surface-level, generic, basic, and vulgar. It's hard to explain it but you'll start picking up on it, and something about it to me absolutely kills everything he writes. There's no air of mystery, it's just either simplistic, blunt, tee hee potty mouth vulgar, or (most often) all three.

If that still doesn't make sense, look at it this way

Thread #01 Winter Wonderland.

Welcome to /un0/, an RP thread for playing a World of Darkness/Chronicles of Darkness Hunter. For any OOC questions about WoD/CofD, check the official general. >>97089644

Rules:
>We are acephale. There is no storyteller, we are not a quest.
>This thread is based primarily but not exclusively in the nWoD/CofD game Hunter: the Vigil. However, Vigil is defined by being highly setting agnostic, with a system for creating entirely custom monsters that do not exist in other WoD/CofD games. Thus, you have significant freedom in what you want to play and what you want to hunt. Feel free to play a member of the Society of Leopold, or a member of the Lucifuge hot on the tail of a Lasombra.
>Namefagging is encouraged but by no means mandatory.
>Keep in mind that even highly experienced Hunters typically only have fractured pieces of the puzzle, and every table has their own canon. The night is dark and full of misinformation.
>/un0/ is conceived of as an experimental end to end encrypted program that is very hard to compromise, retains very little data and purges that data regularly. Please play an actual Hunter.
>Spoiler any OOC discussion.

Happy hunting.

Among the infinite timelines of the human race, one has been selected and groomed by the elites of humanity.

These elites are of two factions:
1. The militant religious orders of the Imperial Faith, who believe in a Day of Reckoning where the God-King absorbs all human souls- past, present and future- into His Holy Corpse, and throws the sinners and heretics into a fiery chasm while His Faithful are allowed to ascend to Timeless Paradise.
2. The Downstreamers, a time travelling organization of scientists that intend to colonize the entire galactic supercluster and eventually construct a Matryoshka Brain to store the consciousness of every human to ever exist (that they care about) in a Virtual Reality afterlife.

They have spent countless worldlines pruning and selecting every single set of events that would bring about both their paradises.

And both gave the endpoint a single name: The Golden Order. A world where every wrong has been righted and the world is as it should be.

Oathmark kingdom drabble;

Lle'r Corynod (Pronunciation note; the double L in Welsh is pronounced "ch") - "Place of Spiders", is a pastiche of Celtic and Tolkienian sensibilities, with a dash of Moorcock.

This demense was established by a legendary sorceror-tyrant named "Loppe" (which also means "Spider" in Old English) who brought his people into exile with him from across The Sorrowing Sea, "Not by Currach or tall ship, but by art alone, riding upon a darkling cloud" to paraphrase the Lebor Gabála Érenn.

Loppe forced treaties on the Parliament of Spiders, and settled the rivers and plains.
In the three hundred and thirty third year of his reign, Loppe suddenly abdicated the throne, under an inauspicious omen, and changed himself into a gigantic spider; mating with the Queen of spiders (Spider monarchy is constitutional; which is why they also have a parliament) in the Sylvan wood, and being devoured by her.
From this union many great and terrible spiders and abominations were spawned.

Pwyll left behind him ten sons begat on Elven women; the eldest was most like his father; a natural sorceror blessed with the might of elder days, and was thought fated to rule.
The second eldest, was called Pwyll, bereft of magic, but most ruthless of all.
He murdered his nine brothers under his own roof, violating sacred hospitality and committing an arch-fratricide that led to civil war, widespread oathbreaking and general kinslaying ensued across the land.
Before he died, his eldest pronounced a curse on Pwyll; that first he would go mad, and thereafter would die a threefold death.
But Pwyll the accursed was the only heir of the blood remaining, and Elves are peculiar creatures who put great stock in ancient tradition and protocol; Pwyll absorbed the resistant holdings of his brothers one by one, and intensified the slaving operations that drove whole Goblin clans from the wild interior, to labour in mines and fields under constant threat of being spider food.
>>
>>97189625
>Pwyll left behind him
That should read "Loppe left behind him"
But actually I could have ballsed that up far harder.

>>97189605
As you may have guessed, this is inspired by Dune.

However, I turned the Space and Fantasy parts (Spacing Guild and CHOAM on one hand, Imperial nobility and Bene Gesserit on the other) into independent state factions that collaborate for a common goal.

One faction lives entirely in space and one entirely on Earth, so there's little to no competition for resources or power.

Joking aside, the guys here are cool, but seriously, where the fuck do I need to move to to get armies of this quality?

It took me 6 hours to paint one soldier earlier today and as a palette cleanser I tested a simple scheme on a skellington. Only took me 20 minutes. I think tomb kings will be my palette cleanser side project.

What's the consensus on Warcrow?

The Llanowar fanboy in me always wanted forest elves that didn't suck(say, like being an army of skirmish units in a rank and file game, or stuck with some other aesthetic mixed in). Is this a good game for it, or is it going the way of aristeia?

Aristeia is a great game that brain-fried zoomers ditched because it was "abandoned" (i.e. complete and not being constantly changed and fucked with). Still, it did have a long streak, we'll see what happens to the new one and if they fuck it up to appeal to the retarded masses.
Warcrow... well, if I heard any discussion about it except for a peep or two when a release happens, I could decide. As it is, it seems DOA.

Our group had enough people interested about it to hold a small "tournament".

I mean I still have my Aristeia stuff and am down to play it any time. I just can't generate a national level meta for it on my own. I'll probably just go ahead and buy in to Syenann anyway for the models, the near lack of peeps is a concern though. Thanks for the response.

From what I've seen it's popular with fantasy normies. There isn't a big overlap with Infinity.
