>>96457666>>96457838You need to enlarge the radius of the cut at the upper thigh so it covers more of the knee, and slightly straighten the forward leg so it's closer to vertical. Or you can dig out the upper knee joint and turn the thigh into a nub so the plates on either side of the knee joint cover the joint. It's a bad sculpt for that pose.

There's a ton of named NPCs that are close to 1000 years old or more and yet they live on Earth without Paradox bothering them at all, for example Maimonides and Jodi Blake (though the later uses demonic investments to prolong her life).

>>96454470As someone who has; don't. Specialty dice & cards galore, the minis are in a wonky 30mm-ish scale and look out of size next to everything else. Full MSRP is too much, and they have a very fiddly assembly, like a cross between modern Malifaux and Robotech RPG Tactics. Minimal mould lines, but varying degrees of mould release agent, depending on plastic or resin kit. The resin is also very brittle. You can find pretty much everything they offer in better quality for less cost elsewhere.
>>96456082You need a set for the gondola, a biplane cockpit, and pretty much everything else is either models or background paintings. Can even use the 'bavarian village' as where the pilot crashes and recovers. Matte paintings and stop-motion are expensive, sadly.

>>96453629Isn't TC model agnostic? You can use whatever models, just but the cheapest you find. Or did they change that?
>>96456975No it is model agnostic. But I feel like the official stls are good enough and match the art so well that if you're drawn to the game in the first place quite a high percentage of people are just going to want them, in which case the cost and ease with you can get those could still be a point of friction for getting into it for many people.
I am going to buy anyway, I love this hobby and I spend tons of time working on my models and playing.I have 2 main armies and spend an average of 100-200€ per year on my favorite pastime.FYI taking my sugarbaby out on a saturday costs me like 150€ so this is fucking nothing.

Would Master Shake be a problem player if he was in a TTRPG game?
>>96454209Eh, there's at least three explanations for shit blowing up since ATHF laughs at canon. It starts happening after the Drizzle episode where he exposes himself to radiation to try and get superpowers. So him getting a really shitty superpower and not realising it is common fanon suggestion/joke.The other explanations are that their belongings are unstable from cloning and that the floor just has that power for some reason. No one fits: Shake does it the most by far but others still do it sometimes. It usually happens to normal objects but has happened to obviously unique things or even people. And it has happened outside of their house on occasion.https://youtu.be/2PCeVo0Hf8o?si=COP39_huSR8hRTd7 Has Shake do it to Happy Time Harry and Meatwad explode Shake for example.Shake sitting down at a table and exploding every dice he tries to roll with and just not commenting on it is a very Aqua Teen image though.

Welcome to the Old School Renaissance General, the thread dedicated to TSR-era D&D, derived systems, and compatible content.Broadly, OSR games encourage a tonal and mechanical fidelity to Dungeons & Dragons as played in the game's first decade — less emphasis on linear adventures and overarching meta-plots and a greater emphasis on player agency. If you are new to the OSR, welcome! Hypothetically, let's say you're running an open-table game for a bunch of strangers. A few groups go to location POI and discover stuff and clear some stuff. Later, a different group with players who have never before been to location POI head there too.Do you as the GM tell the new group what previous groups have done/achieved/located?

>>96417808>Can't win against rulesSkill issue~
>>96424446I'm going to compare this to other systems to help explain the 'problem' as I see it.In something like Exalted, you get stunt dice for bothering to flavor what you are doing. Getting two additional dice in a pool is a big deal (potentially more if you really go all out) so you're probably going to go out of your way to do at least a two dice stunt every attack. Even supernatural creatures can be remarkably fragile. Makes you appreciate every risk you take and every attack. You can potentially end Exalt versus Exalt fights in ONE well-placed attack.Where are we at in the typical game of DND? A single round of combat is rarely decisive, and for all that effort of flavoring how cool your character is you roll under 10 anyway and beef it. This is going to repeat a lot, and even your successes are generally not the deciding blow. Yeah, you're putting way too much energy into nothing. My recommendation? Let people do nonstandard actions without need for feats or skills. On one condition. They HAVE to sell it. Sell it hard. Then they can roll to do it as part of an attack. They succeed? Enemy has an appropriate status. Be more generous the more extra they go, but they have to SELL SELL SELL. The bigger a thing they want to cause? The more they got to put into the description. Rewards effort, but use is limited by it's nature.
