A shield gives very desirable bonuses.
A shield that doesn't weight a ton, can't be broken, doesn't occupy a hand, works all the time and against all directions is even more desirable, and the cost reflects that.
You could tip away the cost with limitations like:
>Temporary Disadvantage, One Hand, -15%
You need to dedicate one hand to keep it up.
>Limited Use, 4, Fast Reload, -10%
The shield is good for 4 defenses before requiring you to Concentrate for a turn or two.
>Limited Arc, Front and One Side, -20%
The shield only works against attacks from the front and the side of the hand you're using to keep it up. I got this version of Limited Arc from Eggplant, not sure where he got it.
That's 45% discount right there.

Should Space Marines be made more common? These mythical warriors of only 1 million or so total spread thin throughout the Imperium does NOT match up with what we actually see, which is the Astartes showing up in large numbers to even minor conflicts and dying in large numbers as well.

You've obviously never encountered someone who is 6'7" (or 2 meters) and does any type of serious weight training. Because even though they put on muscle they're still quite lanky in most cases. Kind of makes sense that Astartes would be out of proportion because of the augments and that their head would be smaller in relation to their bodies than baseline humans.

They can't have been that important, the Imperium has a million worlds and forge worlds are listed as being in the 'hundreds', meaning there's 999,000 other planetary candidates that could've been supplying them, there's no way a planet of only 12 million people on the edge of the Imperium was that important to a forge world

Honestly I'm tired of muh eldritch cults and the lovecraftian mythos in horror. No one is genuinely scared or creeped out by them. People may gloat about how much of an intellectual idea cosmic horror is; being overwhelmed by the vastness of the universe and feeling powerless, blah blah blah.

Satanic cabals, witch covens and pagan cults do give people the creeps. Voodoo dolls, human sacrifices, blood rituals, hidden groves with celtic ruins, secret societies, actual ghosts and demons instead of otherworldly beings who don't give a shit about mankind. This cube is designed to be drafted by 2 or 4 players, either with regular draft or winston draft (2p highly recommended winston draft), over the past years it had some cards changed but there's a timeline tab that allows you to see what changes have been made.

The cube is designed to have every card work with eachother so it doesn't matter what you pick, when I drafted it I've stuck to 2 colors but often I splashed 1-3 cards of a third color no problem.

I got a question about drone defense test in Shadowrun 5e.

I'm trying to figure out my drone defense test when it's using it's dogmeat automated brain, forums are saying its either Pilot, Pilot x 2, or Pilot + Handling autosoft and I'm confused, which is it?

EXPEDITION is a ~1880s era, Jules Verne-inspired retro-futurist, underground blood soaked adventurescape.
It is a Skirmish wargame. Two players with their own expeditions, on a hexgrid map, explore & fight each other for victory and profit.

I'm fairly adverse to any more colonies. The Germans alone were already pushing it in my opinion. Trading posts are another matter entirely and 100% fair game to me though, so long as we can figure out what entrance they're using. Them having a naval presence based out of another nation's territory (a real thing that happened with some empires) would also fly, what with them seeming to be naval-focused. It'd also give them a more unique underground situation amongst the surfacers.

A slight modification, and I don't think it would warrant a price change, would be to make it a Character instead of a Leader and give him Veteran of the Deep, and, possibly, get him to keep his Leadership track even if he isn't the Leader.
I think Madman is enough of a drawback to justify keeping him at 19 even with his stats.

I would not add any further colonies until we move the timeline forward. Specially for Sweeden-Norway, if for no other reason I already stated they didn't have any in the tourist guide (I'm adding stuff to it, once I finish Paris I'll post it all, considering how slow I'm going, to my chagrin).
