Late answer, but yes.

Hmmm more control.... more detailed sex mechanics.
Could roll 4 6-sided dice for 5,6,7,8 inches and it plays like blackjack where it's on you if you overshoot and accidentally hit the cervix.
The first roll representing the entrance could be an exception so you don't go 5 inches all in one go. 6-sided dices are the most common.
Then we go into the thrusts which I'll explain a bit later.

Then each girl could have her own UI/chart/page like a miniature snakes & ladders. This is in order to add more personality to each girl with red, blue, green, purple boards, it would basically be its own map, but special in a way with each girl having her own options/buttons to press/rules to roll for. A combination of map + biography. A more advanced decision making game than just "bookworm wants you to shut up during bed or say something intelligent at least"

I think Megaman Battle Network might have a combat map system for this, I wonder if /tg/ made one, surely they made one. That game could easily be a turn-based battleship game just like pokemon mystery dungeon that's inspired from another game that's not real-time combat, just like heroes of might and magic.

Now the thrusting system can be arbitrary or mathematical AND compounded. Arbitrary meaning there's no math involved and math well it's math. Compounded meaning combinations of words/actions like burst thrusts: sudden successive thrusts followed by break in between. Arbitrary would mean you give 1 whole action its separate category and points and rolls without caring how it combines. If you use compounded then you can create a logical "comprehensive" list for the bigbrains who know how to combine magic types // thrusting types together.
Like all magic systems/chemistry systems the challenge is making the reactions interesting and the conditions not require a NASA degree.

Why were so few threads archived on sup/tg/ this year? Compared to 2019 and even last year, there are so few.

And again this year with the pdf hack
>>
>>97148061
The only thing /qst/ revealed was that certain people were only showing up here for specific quest threads, and once those ended, they did not care about quests, in general, enough to go and seek out others to participate in, because no one wants to get 200+ thread backlogs to catch up.

Because the golden age of /tg/ is over. It was 2008-2015. That was it. That's when this board had interesting conversations and discussions.

>People posted bullshit stories and they went with them. Nobody really believed those stories happened exactly the way they were told, but we all enjoyed buying into the joke
>Oldfags included GenXers who grew up playing shit like autism table RPGs and AD&D. These people left years ago. They actually had interesting as fuck opinions
>Board wasn't saturated with tr*nnies and f*gs
>Moderation was minimized to true rulebreaking rather than policing rightthink.
>Zoomers have rotten the boards. Millennials might be cringe, but zoomers have zero creative energy our thoughtfulness.
>Not everyone was ironyposting. Far greater proportion of effortposts
>Questthreads shit up the boards for years until they got relegated to /qst/
>We enjoyed trolling off the board, rather than trolling our fellow fa/tg/uys

Genuinely it's the loss of sincerity and rise of irony. The quality of what you post is irrelevant compared to whether or not you might be judged as cringe. Being ironic, apathetic, and critical renders you immune to any potential loss of social value; at the expense of any original thought out of fear that you might say something that draws ridicule.

This isn't rose colored glasses. Read the archives. You'll see "le epic meme" posting, sure. But you'll see much more conversation, storytelling, and even creative endeavors. /tg/ isn't dead, but it's propped up by fewer and fewer of us each year.

This gets me wondering what they might come up with for a 4th Edition box, whether it's still Heresy and/or also Scouring. There isn't really as much left for resin to plastic which is mostly recon/fast attack/characters left wanting at this point, but unless they're inventing new shit like with 3rd's Saturnine Dread and Araknae, Castraferrums are also right there and the old Drop Pods were repackaged for Heresy when 40k SM replaced theirs, so maybe I could see boxnaughts going the same way and taken out of Legacies.

>AI-Assisted Skillset: Once per day, the kingking may query the machine spirits as a 1-round action. In doing so, the kingking must navigate to an online large language model chat bot, such as ChatGPT, and input the prompt provided below, replacing “insert_here” with a class name, spell descriptor, class feature, or creature type or subtype, or similar descriptive word (see note and example). For every 2 kingking levels possessed, the level listed in the query may be 1 higher (i.e. a level 6 kingking may query for 13th level class features).
>The kingking retains this ability for 24 hours.

>Query: For Pathfinder 1st edition, please generate a single class feature with no more than 4 sentences of text. This class feature should be equivalent to class features gained at 10th level or higher. The theme of this class feature should be insert_here.

>Special: This courtier may be selected multiple times; each time this courtier is selected, the kingking may use ai-assisted skillset 1 additional time per day.

>Example: Examples for the query could be classes (i.e. barbarian, harbinger, incanter, paladin, psion, wizard, etc.), descriptors (i.e. curse, draconic, fire, mind-affecting, etc.), a class feature (i.e. armor training, bonus feats, divine grace, rage, sneak attack, etc.), or creature type and subtype (i.e. animal, elemental, kaiju, qlippoth, etc.). Query complexity may be expanded subject to GM permission, such as multiple keywords listed as “curse” and “barbarian”.

The first time I have ever seen an LLM directly referenced as part of a game mechanic.

How many retries do we get, though?

Ok real talk. Do you think design choices like this were what ultimately killed AoS? Or were there other factors at play?

That's a simple fix you just include blindspots or risky entry points. Make it so dropships below a certain tonnage are too small to target so you get small raider forces going in to open up gaps for the rest of the force. You can do a lot with it and not every planet would even have these anyways outside of major manufacturing worlds and such.

this is genuinely fucking terrible display from players. When I GM the players have ZERO say over what happens outside of their IC choices, they don't get to "plan arcs" or tell me where the campaign will head, and they dont get to retcon anything either.

Also players need to learn that gear can be lost, this is not a video game where you get to keep a fancy gun forever. God Im so angry on your behalf, I hope thsoe faggots all get what is coming to them

>What is /awg/?
A thread to talk about minis and games which fall between the cracks, or peoples' homebrew wargames.
The >>>/tg/hwg thread doesn't entertain fantasy (for good reason) and the other threads are locked to more specific games.
This thread isn't tied to a game, a publisher, or a genre, let's just talk about fun wargames. Any scale, any company, any miniatures.

>Examples of games that qualify.
A Song of Ice and Fire, Argatoria, Batman Miniature Game, Carnevale, Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings,
Deadzone, Dragon Rampant, Dropfleet and Dropzone Commander, Freebooter's Fate, Frostgrave, Gaslands, HeroClix,
Kings of War, Maelstrom's Edge, Malifaux, Marvel Crisis Protocol, Masters of the Universe: Battleground, Moonstone,

I think that was the initial plan, but they ended up scrapping it. I believe when they were designing the Winter Korps one, they couldn't think of a good idea that would translate over to Old Umbrey. I think that's why Orgoth had monstrosities, when time for the Reaper Covenant to be released, they'd change them to be beasts for them.

Welcome to the Old School Renaissance General, the thread dedicated to first-decade, Gygaxian D&D, its faithful modern clones, and content created for use with them. Later editions (2e and newer) should be discussed elsewhere.

Broadly, OSR games encourage a tonal and mechanical fidelity to Dungeons & Dragons played as intended by its creators from 1974 to 1983 — less emphasis on linear adventures and overarching metaplots and a greater emphasis on player agency.

If you are new to the OSR, welcome! Ask us whatever you're curious about: we'll be happy to help you get started. We also have two excellent beginner guides created by Anons with feedback from the thread that you can check for help:

Hard same as Anon >>97176159, ideally I don't even want them referencing it out of the game. (Actually this is also a benefit of running OSR games, my players are unlikely to have copies of the bestiaries I use and I doubt they'd look up PDFs just for game spoilers, they're not the type.)

In case you didnt know, NO. you NEVER let them do that. In any edition of D&D

More than that, I don't even tell them the names of monsters unless it's a common one that a skilled adventurer would have heard about.

In the keep at the borderlands module, in one of the final rooms there are 20 zombies and 20 skeletons, how are you supposed to fight that?
Forget about minis, how are you even supposed to track the turns and stats of each one?
Any experience with this?

I honestly ran one sided mass combat. My party had a decent cleric. Bottle necking them or walling them off works decently enough. Zombies always lose initiative and you're on group initiative, so skeletons are your variable. Don't fear the reaper, trust your players to deal with it.

We don't starve around this woods
