Hello,

I am Nagbu from Kenya I am interested in porn game development to earn money for my community. I have very old laptop what game engine to use with no coding?

Regards,
Nagbu

wait a second...

are you the dev of [insert one of innumerable really shitty adult game with horrible art, terrible UI, and painful gameplay, that makes progress at a snail's pace that somehow has 5k supporters on patreon]?

Is my kitty cute or I should make it more cuter

I think it would be easier to judge with a better resolution image. If you took this photo with a pohe, you could wait a bit longer for it to focus, or you could go edit the photo sharpness in the settings.

I don’t have an art degree. But you can’t possibly spend 3 yrs and $50k in art school just for ur art to look like this. I have no intention of shaming new artists, but I need to know whether this person is legit as they boast to me abt their degree.

if you lived here, you'd be instantly destroyed by drugs and fast food or some other first-level vice. You would not last very long so stay in your lane. We're the ones on hard mode, all you have to worry about is life or death, like an animal. We have more complex problems that are PAST that.

a lot of institutions for higher education, art focused or otherwise, end up as daycare for adult children with wealthy parents because that's what is profitable. It's very disappointing because structured learning environments can be really beneficial for people who haven't developed the discipline or drive to learn independently, and access to expert instructors should really help almost everyone, but the reality is modern for-profit education institutions end up with neither of those things.

What is the current workflow of concept artists like now? Did they stop with photobashing and 3d? I don't see any concept art dude talking about their process on social media anymore for some reason

They use ai
Painting, tracing, drawing over it, etc...
>>
If you wanna be real and speak without throwing a tantrum, AI is excellent for trying out visual styles and quirks. 3D to quickly test out cool shots and compositions.
>>
>>7832874
Well, we also don't see many people talking about getting into the 'AAA' video game industry, or talking about getting a studio animation job these days either - the market is going through upheavals and it makes these jobs very unstable at the moment; it's a good thing that no one is advocating for these jobs when the youth are just likely to be fired from them.

It might also be because being a Concept artist and using AI is just... not glamorous in anyway... people get into the job because they like drawing, so to have drawings generated is probably just a massive turn off.
>>
>>7833139
That, and they still want to sell tutorials.
>>
>>7833139
There just aren't a lot of AAA properties that it's aspirational to work for anymore. Games and films have been almost universally safe and derivative for a pretty long time now. No one really cares to work on Call of Duty 17 or the Microsoft game cashing in on the hype of a Blizzard game cashing in on the hype of a Ubisoft game. And it's been a running theme that the concept artist community has gotten just as derivative. No one is really impressed by the Artstation guys doing circular referencing of each other's bland designs.

God, my joke number was still too low, there are 22 mainline CoD games now, 24 if you count the remasters. Industry is fucked.

What is your opinion on League splash art

good skills and great effort but overused and overrated. Amateur in idea/storytelling

Character portraits/splash art should not be in shadow, but they just keep putting a great portion of the face and upper body part in shadow over and over again in multiple splash art that kills the importance of the character.
>>
>>7830312
good taste anon
early dota concept art and especially anything that Jim Murray touched is peak modern fantasy for me desu

> Character portraits/splash art should not be in shadow, but they just keep putting a great portion of the face and upper body part in shadow over and over again in multiple splash art
When I first saw kindred splash art I had no idea about wtf I was looking they’re really bad with that shit
>>
>>7829555
They all suck. I've never been impressed by any of them and don't play the game or find any of the character designs to be good. It looks like the most generic and derivative West Coast industry slop.

Anyone I've seen praising it over the years is always blinded by their love of the franchise over objectively analyzing it.

Sixmorevodka drawings were quite good to be honest and it fulfilled what it tried to set out to be which was just narrative/immersive story telling, however they were commissioned by riot and not made by rioters themselves.

The Cross is a Christian symbol. "Judeo-Christian" is goyslop propaganda for gullible Christians, but let's leave that for /pol/.
>>
>>7833729
Basically any church is Judeo-Christian; Jesus specifically cautioned people against statehood/priests. Probably wouldn't have wanted people worshipping his execution bed so really any icon that isn't a chi-ro is probably zogslop.

Any tips on how to create paintings in a loose style? My retarded autistic ass brain always forces me to do tight rendering and high detailing. It takes soooo much time just to finish a fucking piece...

I mainly work digitally and i mostly use soft/round brushes, i stopped painting and decided to do rendered drawings instead with a pencil, it's much faster and i feel like i'm actually doing something worthwhile.

The new captcha needs to go.

good thinking, i'll try using a opaque / square brush, i'll also maybe set a timing or something

yours look good, i think you're going in the right direction, i think it just needs more polishing so the forms get more clarity, like putting more details and defining the edges in the eyes

Is there really no reliable way of opening your mind's eye in order to be able to imagine something, and then draw it like you're looking at a reference in real life?

I'm not talking about construction and sketching and erasing and adjusting etc until you find something you're satisfied with, but sharpening your imagination and being able to hold an image still in your mind for a long period of time

It's almost impossible to do without stabilization and even with it if you don't have screen big enough to use your shoulder to draw those like you are supposed too it's almost impossible.

Focusing on the general shape of the face, of the hair and of the features. Proportions are important and all but if the shapes are not close enough, it will look off
