Overthinking it a little... picture this. You've got 3 levels of height (high/mid/low). A Shift on the skid die results let you Ascend or Dive instead of shifting (incentive to roll more dice; this may involve different Skid dice now that I think about it). Extra attacks while Diving on targets (or shooting at Ascending targets/while Ascending on targets below your height).

For Battle March, which would be better for keeping my general alive vs heavy hitters?

Meteoric Iron for a 5+ armour save which cant be reduced or +1 toughness with a 4+ armour save. +1 toughness would make my general Toughness 6.

What do you as a DM if you don't like a character? Let's say the character isn't some murderhobo or totally notevil chaotic neutral ruining the game; he's just fucking boring and maybe a bit cringe in your personal view with a backstory and character motivation that doesn't interest you.
Do you bully this character when he interacts with the world?
Try to get him killed pretending it was happenchance to get a new character?
Or do you suck it up and treat the character fairly while still giving him the character spotlight?

If your GM gives you all the downtime you want to Craft, then you break the game in half because you can get everything at effectively half price, which snowballs very, very fast. I played a Crafter Wizard in 1e Kingmaker and it was fucking crazy.

If your GM doesn't give you the time to craft you've basically spent feats on nothing, though even with little time available Scribe Scroll is still likely to be useful.

If you're starting at a low level and the Ranger is... ranged, then you're likely lacking brawn. DEX brawler deals no damage at early levels and STR brawler has no AC. I'd start out with a level in Bloodrager or Fighter so that you have good armor and weapon proficiency, and twohand a reach weapon for AoOs. Then when enemies get within your reach you beat them to death with STR flurry. Two good archetypes for STR brawlers are Battle Dancer and Exemplar since they trade out the AC bonus you can only use in light armor.

Hands are good for general-purpose mechs designed to do human-like work at industrial scales. Unless you can make the entire process handled by machines there's going to be human-style interfaces, and it's easier to change a mech than change how people conceptualize tasks.

Yes. Planar breaches, cataclysms and storms mean that there is a lot of resources dropping everywhere. D&D has planes("dimensions") of Earth and Minerals that during breaches gonna drop metals, gems, crystals and so on everywhere. Of course you don't want to be there while all of that stuff is falling down or fountaining from the ground. Not good for your health. So everyone uses mechs or titans (basically living or undead mechs) to move their bases around.

Typical troll tribe would have a big four or six limbed titan capable of housing all the people and their stuff, so something like 100-300 feet in length depending on tribe size, a bunch of way smaller humanoid or centauroid titans like 20 feet tall and a couple 50 feet tall elite titans for the tribe chief and possibly shaman.
Elves have similar setups only with plant titans and enchanted mithral mechs/golems.
Dwarves and humans have actual city sized mechs that are exactly that - moving cities.
Drow are way closer to proper nomands since they mostly stick to mechs and titans no larger than 50 feet.
Necromancers are on the rise after carving a place for themselves and getting proper time to use their labor advantage, though in exchange most of their undead titans are shit quality wise due to using mindless zombies and skeletons to build them.

Typically people have a couple diviners or other specialists whose job it is to predict where the planar weather will strike around them and ideally of what type it will be. Then they either move the fuck away or try to find a close enough parking spot if they expect the cataclysm to drop useful stuff.

Building smaller mechs, under 50 feet, is pretty easy since it can be done fast enough you should be able to finish a skeleton for one between cataclysms, most of the time. You also can easily carry unfinished ones on your cargo/housing mech. Plus if you have some larger species among your workers it makes it even easier. Problems start when you need to build something really big - like the main settlement mech or a proper castle sized combat mech, or something else just as crazy.

Trolls and elves get around it by growing their titans. So they can start with a couple smaller ones and then graft them together into a single one, though going above 300 feet is still super hard.
Undead are tireless, even if not that strong, so they could drag a lot of stuff around, but again quality problems.
Humans and dwarves are kinda stuck with what they managed to build before portal got closed and planar weather bullshit started - they managed to add some castle sized mechs to their lineups and both are trying to build new city mechs by building parts for them on castle sized factory/cargo mechs, though they didn't yet succeed since it makes it take way more time and effort.

If you mean why it never seems to deal damage when fired, it's because a weapon's ability to penetrate defenses is a combination of its ability to reliably generate extra hits after the first 3, ability to increase number of crits, and the piercing of the weapon. An A5 4+ weapon that can only count on having balanced and punishing is just at too high a risk of getting stonewalled by decent armour and cover. The torrent mode also increases chance of getting stonewalled, and it's saddled with a movement penalty.
If you're asking why the devs have left it in a state where it gets outcompeted for total damage+utility by both other special weapons AND the basic shotguns of the team, that's a much harder answer. If I were to guess, the risk of making it too powerful instead plus not being the team's real issue.

I would like to talk about the Chronicles of Darkness game line Deviant: The Renegades, or more specifically, one major upcoming supplement. Deviant was released in late 2021, and has had three additional sourcebooks since then. A new supplement, Black Vans, has been in playtesting for a while, and is currently being previewed.

I am not being paid or sponsored to promote this book in any way. I am just very fascinated by it, and indeed, I already ran a mini-campaign using the playtest material.

Deviant is, by default, a game about playing angsty, scarred superheroes who either fight world-manipulating conspiracies or work for them. Black Vans is a toolkit full of variant rules, quick NPC creation, variant character types, and variant genres. These variants range from the minor to the dramatic, completely overhauling what were once non-negotiable, foundational themes and mechanics. Maybe your character is not angsty or scarred at all, perhaps they are a """""regular human""""" like John Wick or Batman, or the campaign might have nothing to do with world-manipulating conspiracies.

These variant genres include cyberpunk, high fantasy, post-apocalypse, space opera, and superhero emergence.

This is a beefy supplement. For example, one chapter alone dedicates 38,000+ words to playing other monsters of the Chronicles of Darkness: Beasts, changelings, demons, Sin-Eaters, hunters (entirely separate from the variant rules for """natural""" superpowers), mages, mummies, Prometheans, vampires, and werewolves. No additional supplements beyond Deviant are necessary; the rules are self-contained, allowing the group to play a monster mash of an urban fantasy setting without needing a daunting 7+ books. And yes, they are supposed to be balanced against one another, so a vampire in the same group as a full-fledged mage is probably some older Kindred.

Paint legit takes a week to cure. Try again then, and consider a mild 70% iso solution for a quick wipe, but dont soak it. A hot soapy washcloth might do the trick.

Love your corsairs anon. I painted these a long time ago but seeing yours makes me want to pull them out of long term storage.

Would have helped, if you posted a pic of an example NGL. Let me guess - you are using paint + glaze medium mixture as if it was a normal paint using "fully loaded brush". You should wick most of the mixture and use it with semi dry brush in very thin layer 15 million times over and over. Vince probably has a vidoe about it somewhere

Post pic of how it looks on a pallette and on a mini, then you can expect better answer

Think of the medium as transparent paint. You mix it in to make your layers more translucent, but you still need to thin it with water like normal.

I dunno bout no pazuzu but ice assassin can make a clone of any creature that has it's exact abilities and memories and all that shit (doesn't even say you need to have seen the creature or be near it or anything, it's a very weird spell)
So you make a god and have it give you divine ranks, you pass it along, you make more gods and you keep doing this, then you recall the ranks you passed along to yourself and you're now divine rank infinity
