Disney's dark age didn't mean that they were unprofitable or made bad movies. It's that they didn't innovate on their craft. Their dark age really only had one bomb (The Black Cauldron), but otherwise they produced profitable and well-liked movies. They were just in danger of being stagnant.The modern era?
