Can we have another interior design thread? I'm getting a way smaller bed and will have space to remodel my room.
What's your layout? How do you save space? How do you deal with little sunlight getting into your room?

This is based.

As a straight man you don't need much else honestly.

That monstera plant is kinda messy though, it needs some maintenance.
Plants are a great way to decor a room and nice hobby.

Also, great functional shelf.

Not to be an asshole but I don't like the looks of it. Way too artificial for what it is.

Anyways, congratulations, having a redone kitchen is an achievement, it takes lots of planning and money, even if it isn't exactly of my taste.

Unpopular opinion; books are moldy shitters and should be discarded after use unless it's something like a manual or used as a reference.

Ditched all my books. Everything I'll ever want to read can fit on a USB drive.

At a certain point, maybe you wouldn't bother? They're so far up. Just clean the rest of the house extra well to compensate. (In all honesty, if someone can afford to live here, they can probably also afford to pay someone to climb up there every month and clean them out.)

>>
>>18613961
Yes, but let's look at the breakdown of the population. Who is pretty and well-dressed as well? I'd say the breakdown is as follows:
>handsome/pretty well-dressed 5%
>handsome/pretty dressed like shit 15%
>ugly, but well dressed 5%
>ugly dressed like shit 75%
The fact is that just dressing better puts you leagues above everyone else, even if you are ugly. While you're a single tier up from the bottom rung, most people in society are on that bottom rung. I'm just saying, anon. Dressing well matters.
>>
>>18613883
Ugly and well-dressed just looks like a massive cope and ridiculous. Best not draw any attention to yourself if you're ugly.
>>
>>18614379
>Best not draw any attention to yourself if you're ugly.
Objectively false.
>>
>>18614372
you forgot average looking people.
I'm not saying it doesn't matter. I'm saying there's a strong feeling of defeat as a ugly guy who puts effort into dressing well, and just getting destroyed by some slightly above average guy dressed like shit.
It's like being a midget who wants to run competitively. at some point you realize that your efforts are much better spent somewhere else where you being a midget won't be as much of a disadvantage.

Feel like posting my updated wash day routine for the winter. I alternate between roller sets and wearing my hair curly around this time of year. This week is curly. Pics in order from start to finish.

0) Pre-poo: oil and massage scalp with Mielle rosemary mint oil. Generously apply rosemary mint mask to dry hair, reaching full saturation. Finger detangle. Sit under hood dryer for 20-60 minutes to mimic hot oil treatment.

1) First wash: Get hair completely wet w/ cool water from shower. Lather TGIN Triple Moisture shampoo and scrub scalp using massager. Brush through strands. Pre-poo and finger detangling makes this possible w/o breakage. Removes buildup from strands. Rinse well.

2) Second wash: Repeat steps for first wash. Lather is much more intense as excess oil and dirt has been stripped away. Rinse.

3) Condition: Generously apply TGIN Triple Moisture conditioner to strands using prayer hands, rake method, and finally a wide tooth comb to start curl clumps. Scrunch. Plop into shower cap for 5-10 minutes while you wash body and/or shave. Rinse.

4) Leave-in: I have porous hair and it’ll feel like straw by day 4-5 if I don’t do this after rinsing. While hair is still dripping. Flip all hair to front. Use combo of prayer hands, rake, and scrunch to apply small amounts of SheaMoisture Curl Smoothie. Flip hair to side and other side and repeat to evenly coat all strands. Plop into microfiber towel.

5a) Style Prep: Rewet hair with spray bottle. Apply heat protectant spray.
Apply Rizzo’s Curl Defining Cream to hair using same method for leave-in. Section hair into top/bottom, back/sides.

5c) Top: Taking horizontal sections, do as back but brushing up and forwards. 5d) Set: Plop in towel again and do your skincare in the meantime. Take hair down after less than 10 minutes, flip to front, and apply Doux Chief Rocka mousse using prayer hands. Scrunch flipped forward, then flipped side-side.

6) Home stretch (diffuse): Dry hair on low heat, medium fan speed w/ head flipped upside down, scrunching from ends to roots in small sections with a diffuser attachment. Flip head from side-side and repeat.

7: Break cast: Hair will be crunchy. That’s the gel cast. Take Saltair Santal Bloom hair oil and apply from ends to mids using prayer hands. Flip hair and repeat. Scrunch/shake/use Afro pick until desired volume achieved.

8: Profit: Have low maintenance curls for the rest of the week. Sleep with bonnet and simply shake out in the morning.

Try brush styling. I have a similar problem with lots of random straight pieces in the back of my head.
You’ll want a Denman 7 row styler or cheaper knockoff. Both work. After applying curl cream and styling like usual, section off the unstyled looking part in the back. Then start at the nape of your neck taking horizontal sections. Brush them upward, then back; away from your scalp.

You can also figure out your hair type from this chart (https://share.google/0cdGKCppNwCCQIjVn) and search “(hair type) (hair length) brush styling tutorial” for more in depth instructions to do your whole head if you want a more consistent look.

If you like the result, but want more hold/less frizz after it dries try using a gel and/or mousse.

Attached back of my hair styled vs unstyled to show what happens. My hair is a diff texture but this should work for looser curls/waves.

hello,
I recently managed to save up $89,000. Which are currently sitting inside my bank at a decent 3.6% APY.
With that amount of money in the side for emergency, I am finally comfortable in buying something more up-market and, say, "Luxury" if you will to praise myself in a way for my effort and hard work. A Reminder of said work if you will.

Because of the aforementioned humble $89,000 in saving, I can comfortably afford something between the $150-200 range. I've been eyeing some Seiko's but if you have something better in mind, please let me know. I'm very new to watches.
If absolutely necessary, I can stretch my budget all the way to $250 as well.

I'm pretty sure this is the final inventory. Feels like I'm forgetting one somewhere though. I've got a bid on another Seiko 5 on ebay.

I canceled a Citizen open heart mechanical (NH9134-83X) I'd ordered for $204 because I fell out of love with it and it was on backorder.
I returned my first Seiko 5 today because I didn't like the arabic day wheel or the 36mm size. All these details are spread over all the watch threads kind of, with pictures to match.

There's nothing on this collage that I'm going to cancel at this point or send back unless it doesn't work. I'm happy with my choices now and any advice anyone wants to give will go towards my next shopping spree. I'm not opposed to spending $300, maybe $350 if there's something REALLY amazing that I cannot live without.
I wear that Timex every day and that may not even change when I get these delivered. I'm a bit impulsive but this whole thing is winding down. Haven't had the desire to buy any watches today.
>>
With the $7 shipping for the $3 bling gag watch, the total is $639. Which is a bit less than I spend the first time for fewer watches I liked less. I've kept four from the original order and changed out the rest.
The "Orient" Tourbillon might be the dumbest choice, but if it works at all I won't be upset. $45 isn't much money. I know I could have gotten another Timex or Casio or even a better China shitter with that money, but I don't care. I can drop $45 more if there's anything I missed.
But for the most part I think this is a good selection that should last me a while.

No. Stop trying to look like a woman or a little boy. Men evolved facial hair for a reason. It indicates to women that you're a high-T man capable of breeding, and not a woman or a little boy who hasn't hit his puberty yet. Trying to go against nature is pointless. You'll only end up looking like a tranny, like those k-pop ladyboys. Having a 5'o clock shadow is a good thing. It shows that even if you've shaved your facial hair, you're still capable of growing it and aren't a low-T soi.

I walk a lot and I'm done buying expensive denim because it always rips in the crotch. Doesn't matter if I sag, don't sag, high rise, low rise, etc. I've tried everything except quitting leg day.
I squat 285 but my legs aren't huge and I weigh 148lbs
>>
problem solved
>>
>>18614445
Stop wearing slim fit jeans. Wear straight leg jeans especially if you have bigger than average thighs. That will reduce the friction and stress in the crotch region. And wash your jeans regularly. Too much dirt and grime, especially in areas that sweat a lot (like the crotch), will damage the fibers and deteriorate them early.
>>
>>18613925
Nudie jeans, its right there in your pic and they have this issue far more than any other brand, no wonder they have to offer "free" repairs
>>
>>18614447
Retarded fatfucks. When you squat down, you're supposed to pull the legs of your pants up so that the crotch doesn't stretch out. This is why you don't wear tight pants like a faggot.
