I actually think Twilight Sparkle is better as an Alicorn. I don't think it was handled properly whatsoever, and it was WAY too early, but she's far cooler and more interesting as an Alicorn. She also looks great like this, the wings are cute and suit her well. The embodiment of Magic SHOULD be an Alicorn. She is the sort of workaholic who WOULD/deserves to become an Alicorn. She also embodies friendship, and Alicorns are a symbol of unity and accord between the 3 Pony tribes. Overall I like the confident, compassionate leader she became and Twilight both deserves to be an Alicorn and is far more fitting and suited for Alicornhood. She is a supremely magical person.
