The show we did get was quite good, and as far as Simpsons-clones went, it's probably one of the more memorable ones. Alot of great characters were born from the series and it had quite a few great gaffs while it lasted. Yet, being a fan of the book, I find myself yearning for more Susie in any form.

So I finally watched the various Moomin cartoons after getting sick and one thing has become abundantly clear... the shippers are both creepy and mentally ill. After watching it I looked up what all the "queer baiting" was and they were just moments of friendship or general caring for one another. Not even the out of place "blush" that can hint at deeper feelings. Even the 'queer' aspects of the comics and novels were such stretches it wasn't even funny. Normally I'd just chalk it up to fags being fags, but in the examples I saw I began to realize that these people view almost everything from a sexual lens.Why in the world did this IP attract such a bizarre audience?
