Into the trash it goes. I'm a human being, not a REST API. No, LLM prompt enhancing are not as good as just raw prompting (the latter is much more creative than the former as LLMs use an autoregressive architecture)

It's an LLM that pretends to be a shell. It's meant to be used for post-training other models to help them get better with agentic shit. It's NOT a normal model, that's why the number of downloads is fucking baffling. If you were to give normal 35B the prompt 'ls -lh' randomly during a coding session, it would most likely make that call for you by using a tool to execute commands. If you give this model that same prompt, it would PREDICT what it thinks the output would be if you were to make that call yourself in your terminal, but it won't actually make the call like normal 35B would. Its prediction would most likely be correct.

this anon gets it. I love programming, I've been doing it for 20 years, I enjoy making my code pretty and readable and I don't like linters and formatters, BUT nobody cares about the code, that's a fact. Every motherfucker has their own preferences and is going to shit on your style (if you're lucky that is, but most simply don't give a fuck and would just go fmt or equivalent). I personally hate reading other people's code - yes, it might be enlightening and educational, but it's always like a small torture to me. I hate coming back to my own code even when I need to update / fix it after some time - not because it's badly written (although sometimes it is), but because it means I need to spend time trying to understand my own design decisions and bigger picture - and usre it's easier than trying to understand someone else's retarded ideas and design, but still not exactly fun. I also hate it when I don't know where to start, I hate it when I know where to start,I hate literally every second of programming and the only reason I still enjoy programming are the little momenta of joy when the program works pr when I realize how due to my design decisions it's 100x easier to make a new change or add a feature. But most of all it's the users or the promise of someone using the software. If it wasn't for that, code and programming are pointless.

Firefox sometimes feels faster than chromium because it loads new tabs in the background immediately as if they were focused instead of waiting to switch to them which is nice but actually explicitly disallowed in web specs. It's slower for any persistent heavy rendering and always requests items from servers in the wrong order as proved in this talk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0lFyPuH8Zs
It also uses 3x the RAM and something like 10x the VRAM on my computer but that seems to be specific to certain computers because no two anecdotes on the internet are ever the same.
Personally I would be willing to use Firefox full time if it blended non-progressive PNGs that are still loading in against a transparent alpha background instead of a white background. They already do this for JPEGs. Oh well. A couple dozen less retarded defaults would be nice too especially for a browser that pretends to not be run by an ad company. Oh well.

This is why my parents do it. They live out in the middle of nowhere with poor tv reception and no internet by choice. They have DVD's too, but they like their old tapes and can pick up stuff through the early 2000's for ten cents apiece at the local secondhand store. Also, most digital stuff doesn't give you full screen anymore on a 3:4.

I was floored when my dad showed me his copy of Return of the King Extended Edition in VHS. I didn't realize they kept making them that long.
