Can Chaplains take a Storm Shield or is the Rosarius his one & only invuln save?

I'm trying to recreate modern gsc using the Imperial Guard doctrines and throw some genestealer/Patriarch as allies for fun.But I'm stuck.The one suggested by GW is trying to recreate the citadel journal, but I do like the idea of the chem-inhaler and harden fighters to represent the brood mind and hybrids. The rest I'm at a lost. Maybe light Infantry for those infiltrate and special squad for the demo charge guys.
