Bought some Bulgarian commerically made AK mags from GunMagWarehouse last year and this year. I found out they are actually made by ISD of Bulgaria. Are these only good for range use or any good for survival and SHTF? Supposedly ISD is also a government supplier to the Bulgarian armed forces like Arsenal is.

So I have a steel mags, all polymer, and polymer with metal lugs.

I have already ordered polymer AC unity ak mags that are on their way. but they were from Target Sports USA 4.99 each.
I hope they arent defective.

I also have a few magpul moe mags, and US palm mags.
>>
>>64631392
I hate the metal kci mags, I haven't had enough time on the plastic glock ones to have an opinion.
>>
>>64631278
I kinda like those for some weird reason. Like a black matte version of a bake mag in nylon. Weird because usually I'd hate something like that.

>>64631360
Totally just asking for a spoonfed answer here but are those smoothsides still in production? Mag availability seems to come and go so much over the years for AKs it's insane, surplus or commercial.

>>64631392
FWIW I own a KCI and really haven't used it much at all if at all and the paint, not bluing, is already flaking off. Just from bouncing around in storage. A little more effort would be nice IMO.

Palm swell and gas pedal increases the frame width. The aggressive texture tears up your shirt. The trigger is more personal preference imo.

But you'll buy one.

How would you solve that without increasing the mechanical complexity of the FCU, kinda the same problem as a magazine disconnect.

Glock isn't interested in fixing anything, Glock is only interested in marketing and increasing sales.

>Palm swell
Supposedly it is barely noticeable.

>gas pedal increases the frame width
Gen 6 is compatible with Gen 5 holsters so I don't think this is true. I'm guessing it's cut into the frame instead?

>The aggressive texture tears up your shirt
Does this happen to you? I use sandpaper talon grips on my g45. It doesn't tear me up carrying appendix. I wear basic bitch cotton undershirts most days.

>The trigger is more personal preference imo.
That's true but I observe that normies shoot low left with my flat apex shoe glocks as opposed to the curved OEM. I think flat shoes are easier for most people to pull straight back.

There's credible rumors that the only difference between a PL-15 and a PL-15E is the sequencing of the dual pulse rocket motor, which would be done in software based on flight parameters. If you burn the 2nd pulse early and turn it into a single pulse missile, you nerf the range and basically turn it into a slightly larger amraam with slightly larger range.
So all it takes to turn a PL-15E into a non-E is probably a very small firmware hack to re-enable the dual pulse motor.

>Paki J-10s probably didnt use AWACS to guide the missiles because the only one around was the SAAB 400 which is only compatible with F-16s
That's not what the Pakis claim, they claim to have achieved full integration between the J-10s and JF-17s and its SAAB Erieye using a homegrown Link-17 datalink system which they modified with Chinese technical assistance. They also acknowledge they had surveillance help from Chinese satellites.

>i think chinks are either underselling the range of their own missiles or Pakis got PL-15 with PL-15E markings under the table.
Why? If the reported range of the PL-15E is 145 km and you say the distance of the engagement happened at 130 km that would fit inside the estimated range.

As for Chinese claims on their domestic PL-15 nobody has seen them in action so it's hard to tell how real they are.

>Speaking on a recent podcast, Michael Dahm, a senior fellow at AFA’s Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies, said the kill chain may have started with a Pakistani ground radar—“maybe a surface-to-air missile system, or some other type of radar system”—which “illuminated the Indian target.” Then, a Pakistani J-10C fighter “launched its missiles, probably at range, and finally, an airborne early warning and control aircraft used a midcourse datalink to update and guide the missile to the Indian fighter.” “The Pakistani Air Force deployed …’ A’ launched by ‘B’ and guided by ‘C’” and hit the target, he added.

Would you like to point to where I ever once made a claim that could reasonably be interpreted as LCSes having been delivered below level 1? In the only post where I mentioned the commercial standard, I also pointed out that a large part of the cost of the first two hulls was in improving the design to level 1 survivability. Obviously there were no hulls delivered before the first two.

How much of a serious difference is there in between various brands of 5.56? Assuming same grain weight, bullet type, whatever. I'm trying to buy ammo in bulk and I'm struggling to figure out what brands to buy for both M193 and M855. Currently looking at Winchester for both just because it's cheap and there's a rebate for them. Both will just be for plinking and hoarding.

when i bought my first gun I gave the guy my ID but didnt realize the address was wrong
the only difference is the number on the apartment though

im still in the waiting period, is it okay to just bring this up when i go pick it up?
>>
>>64633979
Bring a piece of mail with the correct address from a financial institution, utility company, or government institution. If you have a vehicle registration with your current address that should work as well. You can have a different address from your ID, you just need proof of it. Did the address you put down match what's on your ID?
>>
>>64633994
>Did the address you put down match what's on your ID?
i put down my current address on all the physical forms, so everything i wrote down was correct.
whatever they used my ID for had the old address though, so hopefully that can be corrected

i do have some mail from my utility company with the new address though and i'll still have to give them my passport or birth certificate when i pick it up since i didnt have it on me at the time

>>64634007
Are you in California? The process there is really confusing because of the DROS (Dealer Record of Sale) system in addition to the 4473. Gun store staff may have missed the discrepancy.

Yes, it is something that should be corrected because that could get their license dinged on an audit. I would call them and check what they want to do. Could be a simple form correction with an attached copy of a document showing the new address, could require a DROS correction or a re-DROS if you are in California. Hopefully not the latter because it would re start the waiting period.

Basic fashion rule, stripped clothes can make (according to faggots and women) you appear slightly less or more fat depending on the orientation of the stripes. The nig in question is demonstrating that.
In person, that effect only works at a distance, there's no hiding the lard when you are up close.
