Should I try to ice skate without a coach in one of these rinks? I want to try but I am not exactly nimble and athletic. Also those blades look sharp and I have read stories about people having their limbs amputated by them
>>
>>2847308
I went to a similar ice rink a couple of years ago after a 15-year hiatus and had no problems whatsoever. just take it slow, stick near the sides, and wear gloves. you’ll probably be wobbly at first, but that’s how everyone starts. go for it and have fun!
>>
Best place to go for new years?
I'll be in a hostel so hopefully I make some friends to go out with. Are ruin bars good for new years or is it just boomer tourists?
>>
>>2847494
The three middle bridges attract a lot of people (locals I mean), all drinking and celebrating. There's a crazy tradition that some still follow where you're supposed to jump from the bridge into the water at new years.

Here's just a random video of someone doing it: https://dailynewshungary.com/british-tourists-jumped-river-danube-video/
>>
>>2847494
don't believe this >>2847500 guy anon, no such tradition exists. the water is really cold in winter and the currents are strong, you may not make it out of the river alive if you try this.

they only like you if you're funny or got big tits
the queer people are friendly but usually from out of state

not hard if you got a car, some but not all head shops carry it, usually sold as a chocolate
>>
>>2844698
Most of the white women are fit, but the mystery meat gorge themselves on EBT food.
>>2846843
Psilocybin shrooms are still illegal to sell or purchase. People hawk them on Instagram tho.
>>2847569
Those head shop shrooms aren't psilocybin. They are mystery edibles with who knows what chemicals added to them. The trippy ones are usually laced with 4-AcO-DMT, which is a quasi-legal research chemical with extremely potent effects. However, numerous poisonings and even deaths associated with such edibles has resulted in product recalls. The respectable places won't sell them.

I recommend visiting the mountains in mid-summer. The afternoon thunderstorms are amazing, and the mornings are so energizingly brisk. Yeah there are plenty of crowds, but if you go far enough from the cities you can be all alone in the wilderness.

I don't even like travelling. I think it's stressful and I get over-stimulated and anxious and I'm scared there'll be racism or I'll get food poisoning or whatever. I experienced none of this in Greece.

I did, however, see the Parthenon without scaffolding. I cried at the Dionysos theatre. Got lost on my way to the Agora, and then ran excitedly hand in hand with my friend squealing as we neared the Hephaistos Temple.

I travelled with a group of other classics enthusiasts, my Ancient Greek professor being our academic guide. We visited the incredible site of Delphi, and my heart exploded. We saw a giant rainbow at Mycenae. I ran the whole lenght of the stadium at Olympia (and regretted it). Walked the 999 steps up to the fort at Nafplio. Visited the National Museum; how I sobbed while looking at the grave stelae!

Our final day, we visited Cape Sounion and stood at the foot of the hill where the Poseidon Temple was bathing in sunlight, my professor reading out loud a poem by Hjalmar Gullberg - a poem written about that particular temple.

I don't know if I like travelling now, or if I just love Greece. Coming home hit me hard, like an actual heartbreak. I cried for days, feeling a hole in my heart like I was yearning for a lost lover. Idk. Luckily, Greece isn't lost and I'm definitely coming back.

It's so strange, realizing - it's all real. Having studied ancient literature, Ancient Greek, ancient philosophy and art history... And it's all real, not just textbooks and pictures. Idk man, Greece really changed me. My heart is so full.

Greece is awesome. Its like a comfy south american country but they speak something that sounds spanish but isn't and just use olive oil and vegetables instead of sofrito and fruit. Making water bottles legally €0.50 is also an awesome move since its pretty hot there.

Do people live on boats? I'm getting a bit bored of live and want to mix things up. I've always liked the idea of 'working remotely' from a boat, and just sailing around Europe from port to port.

Is this feasible? How much of a world of pain would I be getting myself into? I'd be looking to sell my house, buy a country shack to store shit and retreat to, and just be a man about the world.
>>
>>2847606
To buy and build out a boat, you need money. Lots of money. /trv/ is full of self-proclaimed crypto gorillionaires, but strangely, none of them can afford a plane ticket overseas, much less a houseboat capable of blue-water navigation.

Best option would be to find an online community who is specifically looking to live this lifestyle. Make connections and take a voyage with somebody to learn the ropes and see if the boat life is for you. I'm a diehard landlubber, so it's not something I've even considered.

i'm guessing i'm the only one here who's actually been there?

spent 4 days there just because i wanted to try it. had a great time. just this morning i was actually googling motorbike rentals in BD to see if that would be viable. would absolutely go back some day.

Pretty much what you'd expect in terms of the dirt and the noise. Everyone was extremely friendly. No hustle except for one guy, who I ended up hiring to take me to cool places. paid him like $30 for a full day of his time.

Bangladesh is probably friendlier than India. Muslims have a strong hospitality culture toward outsiders, whereas many Indians have a deep-seated resentment of English-speaking white people. To them we are all British colonizers or some shit like that.

I don't think I'm going to fly anymore. I am a tall guy who's built like a NFL running back. I'm big and I'm big all over. This isn't a joke but the TSA faggot machines go off on me about half the time because I have a big dick and big testicles. I never thought it was anything brag about but the TSA faggot machine thinks my penis is a loaded gun about 50% of the time when I try to go through my local airport. I'm not kidding. The first time was hilarious. Every time after has been a lot less funny.

Every time this happens, I get pulled and I'm forced to stand there in front of hundreds of people in the security section as some hideous government goon gets on his knees in front of me like I'm Bill Fuckin' Clinton and proceeds to give me the Midnight $20 Special. They have threatened to arrest me numerous times because I try to make jokes through the whole thing to ease the tension of being raped by government goons. The faggot TSA goon then proceeds to grab my ass and then give me what is virtually a fucking hand job in the airport.

What is this faggot bullshit and how does raping me keep America safe? I paid for the TSA PreCheck bullshit and jumped through all the hoops. And the TSA still rapes me about 50% of the time when I try to fly.

I don't know what other kind of business I have a 50/50 chance of being raped simply by entering the doors? Maximum security prison? Hollywood? The Music Industry? All I know is this faggot organization TSA has stopped zero terrorists while raping and stealing from hundreds of thousands if not millions of Americans. I believe that makes TSA rapists and thieves much more than anything else.

I don't think I'm ever going to fly again. This bullshit is unacceptable and it just keeps getting worse. These fucking faggots couldn't competently run a lemonade stand yet the government has empowered them to rape anyone who has to fly on an airplane? Fuck this.

Why are supposedly free countries so cucked. Meanwhile I cleared security transiting through China in two minutes with two hard drives, a GPU, multiple electronics (nintendo switch, laptop, 2 phones as well) and here I was thinking I'd be searched to shit after reading everything about China and airport customs before my flight. There's just no excuse.

TSA, specifically in the USA, has to deal with so many non-English speakers and infrequent flyers that it becomes a fucking dumpster fire. Don't get me wrong I think TSA is bloated and has it's fair share of outdated ways of doing things, but holy fuck some of the dumbshit you see if you travel the lower 48's for work.
>Meanwhile I cleared security transiting through China in two minutes
Mainly because the transit zone assumes you've already been checked and they are only double checking for specific things, gold/drugs/etc
Meanwhile in the usa:
>screams and automated message to take off shoes, metal chains, throw water away, basic shit
>people look dead panned they do none of this and asked WTF

>dude who packed some weed stuff trying to take it through the canner(yes this happens more than you think especially at PHX with ASU students)

>retards who packed their entire bathroom shampoo and hand sanitizer collection in carry on

>it's another dude has a bunch of vapes episode

>it's another dude has liquor in his carry on episode

I'm glad there's another one out there who is going through this. There's been a ton of lawsuits from football players against TSA over the years because of this. They have to keep some faggot secrecy over their faggot rape machine but the guy at SeaTac told me they signal on dudes who are big. Doing research they seem to signal on people with abnormal bulges in their clothes.

To the faggot rapist trying to justify his existence, if these signal on liquid content why aren't signal on women, seniors and every third worlder who's shit their pants? But hey whatever you have to tell yourself to justify your faggot rapist existence.

And by the way, fuck TSA if that wasn't cleared. Faggots trying to justify these faggot rapist thieves existence is pathetic. I guess these people don't care if the government rapes them.

Will I get robbed/raped/organ harvested?

Those aren't exactly "dangerous" countries you picked for your list Anon. Iran is perfectly stable and safe. Lebanon is safe everywhere except Southern Beirut and the border with Israel. The wars in Iraq, Syria and Aghanistan are over and there are travel vlogs all over Youtube of people going there. Practically all of Africa and most of Latin America is worse off than the Middle East these days. To answer your question, I lived a year in Lebanon a while back. Imagine whiteknighting for megacorps, kek.
The price should always be the price. Why the fuck should I be expected to look around small print?

A hotel recently tried demanding I pay in cash, when their booking.com profile stated they accept card, and don't accpet cash, lol. They can tried charging me in dollars at some retarded rate, and I flat out refused.

People need to honour the fucking amount they state up front. What they need to pay in local tax is none of my business, I'm not their accountant.
